Doctor Who at the Ahimsa Coffeehouse
Doctor Who is the longest-running science fiction television program in history. If you have never seen a Doctor Who story, stop whatever you're
doing and immidiately go out and purchase a DVD. I'd like to suggest
The Robots of Death as a great way to
quickly immerse yourself into the world of Doctor Who.
Setting up a page devoted to Doctor Who was one of the first things I turned my attention to upon learning rudimentary html in 1994. That original page contained dozens of
links, of which only a handful survive to this day. The collection of items below contain a few hearty survivors along with some new ones.
- Official Dr. Who Site: Now that the BBC has found renewed interest in Dr. Who, a proper "official"
website is established.
- Comprehensive Fan Site: When I'm looking for information regarding Doctor Who, I always turn to
Outpost Gallifrey.
- Classic Series Episode List: Back in 1994, there was a site which contained a Doctor Who episode
guide which fit on a single piece of paper. I found it useful in recording which episodes I'd managed to record off of PBS or obtain reconstructions of. The site containing
that page has long since disappeared. I've attempted to re-construct that unknown author's work. This is as close as I could get to the original version.
- Ben Jackson Home Page: This site contains an interesting collection of material related
to the actor Michael Craze. Michael Craze played Ben Jackson during seasons 3 and 4.
- Build your own Key to Time: You enjoyed Season 16. Now, build a paper copy of your own personal Key
to Time.
- Bevis and Duncan's Dr. Who Guide: Other sites have far more comprehensive episode guides.
I appreciate this guide's simplicity of design.
- Nitro9 Doctor Who Home Page: Among the oldest Doctor Who sites still in operation.
- Dr. Who Picture Page: This site posts 1 new Doctor Who image each month.
