David Wesbster suggests that cultural values might be seen as having 'inherent worth'. But, while it is right to approach the values of a culture with respect, and seek to understand them as best one can, if it turns out that human sacrifice, or gassing Jews, turns out to be a valued in a culture, does one grant 'inherent worth' to such values?
